Hi, dentista! Share ko lang, medyo similar tayo ng plans although I'm not a dentist (an RN). Kung irerequire pa ako ng regulatory body ng nurses sa BC na mag extra schooling I might consider relegating to LPN muna. Kasi kung mag-aaral lang din shorter ang duration ng LPN plus I get a diploma wholly from a Canadian college. 3 sems kasi pag bridging program for internationally educated nurses and I assume their costs would be approximately the same with the full LPN course. Saka pag bridging program certificate lang makuha and my diploma would still be from the Phils. Saka na lang siguro ako mag upgrade to RN pag may Canadian experience na. I just hope financial assistance for immigrants is being offered. How long would it take for you to be a hygienist if ever pumasok kayo dun? Ok din if you consider a career shift to culinary, masaya siguro if your leisure and passion ang iyong livelihood.

Hirap kpag regulated ang profession!
Sa pagkakaalam ko 1yr pa yta need namin mag aral para maging hygienist,, khit nga dental assistant need pa rin daw study for 6 mos.,,, dpende pa rin yta sa credential assessment ng school.
Mahirap magdecide,,,lahat yun ay initial plans lang! Cguro pag andun na tayo masmadali na at marami pa pwedeng mag advice.

Open din akong mag aral ng ibang course,,,naisip ko lng na sobrang malaking adjustment kung hindi related sa dentistry magiging work ko dun. Bahala na cguro si lord,,,,, babalik na lng ako ng Pinas pagnamiss ko pagiging Dentist! ;D

@ Anata, pansin mo ba after feb mr march na ini issuehan ng PPR? Which means sunod n kyo nila ron, john at mitz? Pag meron n kyo..... Kami nman nila azneita at gerlalo!!!! Yey!!!

The DHL guys arrived this afternoon with our visas. CEM received our passports last July 19, date of visa issuance was July 23, visa delivered today July 26, only 7 days! Wow, it seems that CEM is in express mode.

Sa mga nag PPR na, padala nyo na agad passports ninyo habang ganado maglabas ng visa ang CEM, at sa mga naghihintay ng PPR, kung wala naman kayong problem sa medical at security/background check, rest assured dadating na ang PPR ninyo.

July 5 ko pa nasubmit passport ko sa CEM til now nothings changed sa ecas ko,,napansin ko 2010 applicant ka maybe inuuna tlg nila mas ahead na application.same thing with firestyle parehas lang kmi ng PPR date but he got his visa already last week.Juy applicant yata c firestyle i think..haiist ive waited so long, ano ba nman ang magantay ng days or weeks nalang for our visa.God is good tlg.God bless.
