Thanks mks0308! In Process pa rin...hindi nagbago.

Ok thanks filcpa! Halos pareho kasi tayo ng timeline.
Again, congrats. Finally may visa ka na! :)

Godbless to you & your family!

@ mks0308 - oo nga...nakaabot din sa finish line. Landing na lang ang kailangan natin.

@ jangong - thanks! vancouver or toronto...depends on my husband's current client kung meron siyang network doon na makakapagbigay ng initial job para hindi ma deplete ang settlement funds. Where do you plan to land?

@mks0308 - finally, DECISION MADE na rin ang eCAS ko but no additional details were reflected. My address also was missing. It was updated this afternoon...several hours after I received the passports with visas. I feel that the visa officers are swamped with so much applications and still a lot are coming.

Thanks for the info filcpa!

Thanks mks0308. On the way na yung visa mo kasi August din ang expiry kaya they will fast track the issuance. You might receive it within the week. Give CEM around 2 weeks to process visa after you have submitted your passport. Btw, magpa book ka na kasi peak season ang July if you wish to travel around that time.

Naka book na kami ng June. We will just finalize kung saan - BC or ON. We got a very good package from Cathay Pacific for both destinations:
$580 Vancouver / $748 Toronto inclusive of all taxes, terminal fee na lang babayaran sa airport. You can call 757-0888 for booking. Mas mababa sila sa mga quotes na nakuha ko sa mga travel agencies. Please dont forget to mention that you are 1st time immigrant and that you want to avail of the discounted or promo rate.

guys, ask ko lang opinions nyo.. i'm done with my medical last jan. 2012 and waiting na lang din ako for PPR ngayon. advisable ba na i-renew ko na muna passport ko before dumating PPR from CEM kase less than 18 mos na lang before mag-expire passport ko. baka may pwedeng mag-share ano yung nakalagay specifically sa e-mail from CEM nung nag-PPR sa inyo kung talaga bang dapat at least 2 years pa ang validity ng passport. or may naka-experience din ba sa inyo na nagpa-renew ng passport habang nag-aantay PPR? did you inform CEM about the new passport? thanks guys. hope may mga makasagot sa mga tanong ko..

Hello!

First question is kung machine readable na ba ung passports mo? Maroon na ba ung cover or Green pa din? I think it would be better to renew ung passports now. Mabilis lang naman. Check mo ung earliest na open schedule tapos 1 week lang pag rush.

Yes, I currently hold an MRP - the brown one. Just wanted to know if hindi ba mag-conflict yun sa CEM kase ang sinubmit ko before sa kanila is yung current passport ko nga tapos pag mag-renew ako, different passport number uli. Do I still need to inform them about it and send copies of the pages of the renewed passport if ever? Or just submit the new passport directly kapag nareceive ko na PPR. I already have a schedule for the renewal next week though nagda-dalawang isip lang ako kung baka matagal ma-release then dumating PPR ko or okay lang ba na hindi na lang mag-renew kahit less than 18 mos na lang validity passport ko?

Congrats po sa inyong lahat na may PPR at visa... God bless us all
