Guys, I submitted my passport along with Appendix A and immigration photos to manila office on 08 June. My case has been processed by London office but as I am living in Korea, they asked me to submit my passport to Manila. my ecas changed to DM on 05 June. the letter that we received stated that my passport is ready to be issued conditional to final admissibility review by an immigration officer. It has been 25 days but I have not received my passport back. How long will they take to send my passport and COPR? Will they send my passport back through VAC or DHL? I sent my PPT through VAC Korea.

I am also going abroad on 18th july and for that I will need my passport. What should I do? Any advise will be really appreciated.

You can always follow up with mvo by sending them an Email. Unfortunately, under my own observation, there's not much of a movement from MVO lately, a lot of early 2015 applicants from our Visa office haven't got anything yet. So, hang in there!:) I wish you luck on your apication.

Advice pls

Hello there

I am going to sponsor my wife. As I live in Toronto I need her to fill up part of the application. She lives in different country. Can someone who already applied for family class sponsorship let me know which forms need her signature as I don't to make mistake. Its just a cross match.

Thank you in advance.

Salamat.

Hi! This thread is for English speakers. Can you please write your question in English or post it to the other Manila thread that has more tagalog speakers? Thanks! ;)

Hey Everyone I need your help,

We finally receive a letter for the request of my wife passport and appendix A. We're confuse about appendix A it is asking YOU AND ALL YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS, whether accompanying or not. Is she to write her mom, brother, sister, and father information. I'm only sponsoring her we have no kids.

Question for all successful applicants when MVO requested your passport, did they also request later on an interview or can we assume when they request the passport but doesn't mention anything about interview that it is waived?

Hi Guys,

My wife was asked by Manila on June 22 for a new Appendix A, her Passport, a new NBI, proof of payment which they had already had (we paid 1040$ right off the bat), the CSQ (which we hadn't received yet).

She had 30 days to comply.

We waited as long as possible for the CSQ to arrive but we haven't received it yet from immigration Quebec (necessary for Quebec).

On July 16 (received by Manila July 17), she sent everything that was asked except the CSQ (not received yet) accompanied by a letter mentioning that we are still waiting for it and that she'll send it by LBC the minute we have it.

However her Upfront Medical expired on July 18 (12 months).

Should my wife wait for a letter from CIC asking for a re-medical before redoing it or can she be proactive and go back to the clinic with a copy of her previous one and the CIC application file number to have it updated preemptively?

Would that help or just create more administrative chaos? Has anyone done this?

Thanks for the help!

Hey everyone!
When they say the app is in process, how long until decision made?

No interview here, but Manila never did tell us it had been waived.
Wife got a phone call from Manila stating VISA was ready to be issued and also they asked if she could travel by a certain date.
I think it's safe to say WAIVED.

Wait for request to re-med, Manila has a habit of extending meds.

Mine was 10 months from the date we applied.
As other applicant said every file different, no one knows how long.
