Yay!
ecas says medical results received.....I wonder how long now?

I mean, it shouldn't take that long to look at the checkbox on the medial stating it's okay...haha

And they got all info required....hmmmmm
Wow, that was quick! It must mean it's okay, because CEM got our medical (apparently) and no Ecas update.. phoned the medical center and they said they sent it and that maybe the doctor at CEM is reviewing it.

From what I've read....the panel physician is supposed to contact the patient if there is any problems.....so your ok....no news is good news with respect to that.

I think yours is just a case of delayed ecas.
Cheers!

8) YES YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET GCMS BY EMAIL :P :P :P THEY HAVE SET UP A ATIP ONLINE REQUEST TOOL WHICH IS MUCH EASIER THAN THE OLD WAY TO EMAIL THEM https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/ :P :P make sure consent form is under 2 mb or it wont accept it
Hey, that's cool! https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

They do a thing called "VO Medical assessment" in Manila after the meds are received. Saw it on my ECAS and also the DMP mentioned it. I think we're still in that queue.

You should be due for your GCMS today, right? The last page has all the good stuff.

Still waiting for my GCMS notes. Mailed on the 16th of April.

I feel for you guys and gals, the hoops you have had to jump though has been incredible. Just crazy how long it takes to even contact them and/or get information ,there is no direct method to get info from them, you have to go to the local MP to get help etc etc etc. I hope you guys get them soon so you can end the agony.

I just hope you guys will check in once in a while and help give advice to us young grasshoppers that still are in the early stages.

i would like to say that the people who receive the requests for GCMS are much more iffecient than CEM, i sent the wrong application the first time the one without the signature and date, i had resent the correct one directly after that but i did get an email from them this morning asking for the one with the signature and giving me 30 days to return it. TO BAD CEM COULDNT BE SO EFFICIENT AND CARING

It's because Access to Information has an obligation to respond to you within 30 days. Otherwise Citizen watchdogs will get upset.. https://knightcenter.utexas.edu/blog/00-13807-cult-secrecy-pervades-canadas-access-information-system-report-says

A question, just looking at possible ports of entry and with Qatar airways having some deals I was wondering if there was any extra documentation needed if Montreal is the port of entry?

Not sure if you need anything more than the COPR to land. I do understand that the flight has to be direct. I tried to see if my wife and I could save a few bucks going by way of Japan or Hong Kong but was told by the travel agent that manila to Vancouver is the only way.

Doljan flew through HK. It's no big deal to fly through Hong Kong, I think.. however for an extra hundred bucks I think I will fly him on PAL, save him 12 hours of extra jet lag.

HK airport is not that bad. But not as good as Soeul for a layover.

I would flyout to Vancouver to meet her if she came that way. Montreal is just a lot closer ;) Plus I would save on my flight and her flight to here.
