Na Dm ako nung October 4 Ace...i checked my ECAS just now,ang address na nakalagay sa akin is yung address pa rin ng lawyer namin Ace,bale address ni Atty. Battista from Toronto...i checked also the ECAS of my partner,ang nakalagay na address niya dun ang yung home address niya....may alam ka bang cases Ace na hindi nag change ang address nila sa ECAS taz nabigyan sila ng visa?

wag kang panghinaan ng loob...be strong and stay positive,buti ka pa nga you were called for an interview...alam mo ako emrn,hindi nga ako tinawag for interview taz DM na yung status ko,kabado nga rin ako dito kung bakit ganun....basta may awa din and Diyos....have faith...cheer up emrn....

na inspired ako sa aplication nyo...ang swerte mo talaga...bale same sex conjugal partner din ang inapplayan ko, taz nung nov 2011 pa yun...pwede pong magtanong? na DM na ako last Oct 4 pero i wasn't called for an interview...may ganun ba na case embopj? xa nga pala...c atty. battista rin pala ang lawyer namin...un din ang sayo diba? i am looking forward for your reply...thanks...

Thank you sis but dont lose hope, PRAYER is our powerful weapon keep praying and believe in God,
mostly na conjugal here asked for an interview, maybe in our case we made the VO convinced because
we are in a long term relationship enough, 5yrs na kmi. Then may mga conjugal din nman na M/F na approved.
If i were you focus ka na lang sa mga possible questions sis. Dont think nega.po..Goodluck & Godbless!!

@embopj...DM na po Oct.11 started processing, Oct.13 change PH add to Canada add. then Oct.15 DM..

mostly na conjugal here asked for an interview, maybe in our case we made the VO convinced because
we are in a long term relationship enough, 5yrs na kmi. Then may mga conjugal din nman na M/F na approved.

salamat sa response mo Ace, cguro nga noh,convinced na din yung VO sa documents namin kaya no interview needed...wait na lng tayo sa mga visa natin....

actually Ace,yung ky emrn,positive ako sa kanya kasi may chance siya to defend and make the VO convince through interview and for sure malalampasan nya ang interview...

Hi Sis emrn... I just read you will have your schedule of interview... I had my interview Oct. 16...When i get in the cubicle I know I can get the visa & I don't feel any nervous. It's just like I am talking with my close friend. And she is laughing with my photo & specially yung email ko na puro sorry yung nakasulat. Asking kung pano daw kami nag aaway. Just think positive sis & keep praying. Have you order CAIPS? It will be a big help kasi dun talaga sila mag fofocus ng mga itatanong nila. I never ask if pano ko malalaman ang result kasi sinabi na nya sa akin after her last question na what if I will not get the visa... I just smile to her and answer I never think that It will be refused coz I am positive thinker & our documents are legal, but if ever we will do it in a legal procedure. And she smiled at me and told me wait for my visa within this week.. And she returned my documents except for Passport, Marriage License etc..

And sis I met someone in the embassy office.
The guy I met he sent additional docs for two times and last Monday he received a call from Embassy to pick up the passport. But it was refused, So you need to consider yourself lucky coz you have scheduled for interview.

Pray rosary sis And don't forget to wear your best smile....!!!

How to win interview with visa officer

MORNING OF INTERVIEW

1. wake up early in morning date of interview
2. take shower with cold water this opens your eyes and alerts you
3. shave properly. do not leave beard or facial hair
4. comb your hair nice (get a hair cut before the interview date)
5. brush your teeth good with Colgate.
6. wear good clothes suite and tie looks very professional
7. wear black shoes make sure they shiny polished
8. wear black socks and black belt


AT THE EMBASSY

1. arrive at the embassy outside lineup 45 to 60 minutes before the interview
2. do not talk to people around in line they will only confuse you more
3. believe in yourself and be confident
4. do not think about negative things. stay positive


MEETING WITH VISA OFFICER

1. greet visa officer with big smile
2. shake hand with him if possible. not very hard do not crush visa officer
3. ask visa officer how are you today?
4. when visa officer tells you to take a seat then you sit down
5. look straight in visa officer eyes
6. do not look around left right up down
7. talk to him with nice voice. not to low not to high
8. talk with confidence
9. sit up straight
10. ask visa officer kindly to repeat question again if you do not understand first time


IN THE END

1. say thank you to visa officer
2. give visa officer big smile
3. shake hand with visa officer if possible
4. tell him it was nice to meet with you
5. push your chair back in its original place


NOT TO DO

1. do not chew gum in interview
2. do not stand up at any point during interview
3. do not chew your nails or bite your fingers
4. do not cross your legs sitting down
5. do not answer a question if you do not have an answer
6. do not answer a question you don't understand meaning (your first language not English/French)
7. do not pretend you know all answers
8. do not keep nudging your head even when you don't even know what visa officer is saying
9. do not move a lot
10. never say WHAT? say politely, pardon me sir or madame
11. do not tell visa officer he/she has no right to ask this type of question
12. do not yell at visa officer
13. do not sound aggressive


We all come from many different cultures and societies. each culture has different teachings and doings. if you follow the points above you will be guaranteed successful or at least leave a very good remark and impress the visa officer.

Dear sponsors, please give this guide to your spouses who are soon to be interviewed. they should be prepared any time for interview.

Regarding "Do not #4" It's considered impolite for a women wearing a skirt to NOT cross her legs. If you're a female and wear a skirt (like many business professionals) you should cross your legs.

I'm here in Davao Ace....may number ka ba ng DHL Ace na pwede kong matawagan...? wala pa man cgurong naka receive ng visa sa mga na DM ng first of October? may balita ka ba na nka receive na ng visa lately Ace? yung na DM ng Sept 29,dumating na ang visa niya...

Thank you for the advice I really need it because me and my husband are going through a lot right now. We are in our darkest hour. This interview will make or break us. I'm asking prayers from those who have read my posts. Please pray for us that we get our approval and our visa on November 13. Thank you so much and God bless
