Live in caregiver man ata yun. Ang talgal po talaga ng pp ko :( my mom is planning na di na ako ienroll sa next sem pero feel namin matagalan pa bago dumating visa ko. Actually tapos naman siya na interview. Hope ma help mo po ako :)

Need help.. Reguarding Passport Transmission.. Which one is better, mail the passport to VAC or send it via courier? Please help me.. Thanks..

courier for me ... that way you know when they received it and who received it. its an assurance that they have it compared to mailing it w/o tracking number ... just my opinion

Yes I did. You can use any courier but I went with fedex (air21). It will even report to you who received your passport package upon checking online status.

I just wanted to know since my husband was approved for eligibility last august 28, 2013
we are told that our papers/documents will be send to manila
and upon checking it online decision made file received august 2,2013 medicals received
how can we know then that the file is their in manila now?and how do they usually keep in touch with us?

Hi beth ... there are 3 columns when you check your ECAS ... first should be your name since you are the one being sponsored ... 2nd is the sponsorship application status it should say decision made since you mentioned your husband was already approved ... 3rd is the permanent residence application status it should say application received as of the moment since you are still waiting for passport request (that's the next step)

Basing on my experience I believe your application is already in Manila. Usually it takes 6 months from the time Manila has received your files before they give you a notification of your passport request. If you receive your sponsorship approval through email they will also send you your passport request through email. Personally the wait is too long for me but hey what can we do that's the process :D Hope this helps

They got my passport July 30 and until now I still have not received my visa ... my ecas status turned to in process last Nov. 26 though so I'm hoping to get good news within 2 weeks time :) Wish me luck :D
