Tanks ramzy for the info. I looked in the application guide and it mentioned envelope 9" x 12", but the closest I can find is a C4 envelope which is 22.9cm x 32.4cm or 9" x 12.8". So I suppose that one should have to do. PCC from Peru arrived this morning so should be ready to post all docs later today or maybe just take them myself not sure. Hopefully MR will be send today

Hi Yolanda,

Regarding the specifications for the envelope, please don't worry about that! The envelope size was only specified with the initial application to CIC in Novia Scotia and nowhere in the medical request it is mentioned that the documents have to be sent in a certain envelope. And btw, I sent my initial application in a different sized envelope than specified and they accepted my application without any issues. But again, this was only required for the initial application. Maybe there was another issue with ramzy2277's documents (with the address, etc.).

Please let me know the procedure for dropping of the documents after you have dropped them off at the LVO if you decide to do that. I'm just 30 minutes away from the LVO so I might do that as well once I have my medicals done.

In my next post i will be talkling about a corporate day out at the Olympics yesterday. Loads of good food and a free bar. However i wanted to post something i just came across. Well done to our Muslim friends on this board for their continued strength during Ramadan and for those athletes who are fasting at this time. As a Catholic boy i give you.....

Ramadan is about love and mercy, that's what makes one pure, the real love and mercy between one another will bring you closer to your Creator, it will free your heart from acts of anger, violence and indecency! Learn how to be patient as our mission is big and our responsibilities are bigger, and so we go on worshipping as long as we can but is there any point in pleasing Allah if we are acting merciless towards our loved ones

In any language that is a message of peace. This board epitomises the goodness of people who are willing to help each other. It is a pleasure to communicate and learn new things but mostly it is great to be part of a lovely community. I look forward to the day when i will share a beer or soda with some of you in Canada. Good luck to all of us this week.

400 metre relay?......... Lets go there!

By the way Ryanomill i had a freebie Olympics corporate do yest and free bar for this Paddy! :D. Not really into white wine, more of a Bordeaux and Rioja man myself but gotta say that Aussie chardonnay was superb. Top of the range stuff.

Some headache today though! Damn Aussie wines!

Congrats to our UK boys and girls on this board. Fantastic stadium, event and spectacle. Superb organisation that would put Germany to shame! :-X

+1 for this post. Thanks for putting things in their perspective. I wish more of us here had this knack and would refrain from making a mockery of all that we stand for.

Unfortunately the better wines are from the Kiwis at the moment. Their sauvignon blanc from the Marlborough region is utterly divine.

So many jokes have ended up my way due to the dismal Australian perforamnce in the pool and the velodrome. Team GB have been so impressive in almost all events which makes it even harder to swallow the Aussies performances.

What I have enjoyed is seeing so many of the corporate seats empty at the Olympics. While it sounds like you had a blast so many of these tickets have gone to waste which has been a real shame. I am enjoying watching the Olympics from the comfort of my seat at home or in the pub. Really aren't interested in actually going to see any of it live due to the manner of the ticket distribution.

Farney Bhoy's joke of the week. Every Tuesday until i get MR. We could be here for some time............

The bride tells her husband
The bride tells her husband, "Honey, you know I'm a virgin and I don't know
anything about sex. Can you explain it to me first?"

"OK, Sweetheart. Putting it simply, we will call your private place 'the
prison' and call my private thing 'the prisoner'. So what we do is: put the
prisoner in the prison.

And then they made love for the first time.

Afterwards, the guy is lying face up on the bed, smiling with satisfaction.

Nudging him, his bride giggles, "Honey the prisoner seems to have escaped."

Turning on his side, he smiles. "Then we will have to re-imprison him."

After the second time they spent, the guy reaches for his cigarettes but
the girl, thoroughly enjoying the new experience of making love, gives him
a suggestive smile, "Honey, the prisoner is out again!"

The man rises to the occasion, but with the unsteady legs of a recently
born foal.

Afterwards, he lays back on the bed, totally exhausted.

She nudges him and says, "Honey, the prisoner escaped again."

Limply turning his head, He YELLS at her, "Hey, its not a life sentence,
OKAY!

Well I never made a mockery, I merely asked questions. It always amuses me that people get so defensive. I shall leave it at that.

There would be no way i would have went near the Olympics unless it was a freebee. I take your valid point about the corporate bullshit. It is a disgrace and is symtomatic of the way in which sponsors take the you know what. That said it is a fine arena and the organisation was top class. As a sports fan i have been to loads of arenas ranging from Gaelic Football, Football, Hockey etc. The stadium is up there with others. Not a bad seat in the house.
Irish medals accrued at boxing and hopefully a couple of golds on the way. Aussie athletes have been poor my friend. Institute of sport is not churning them out like they used to. You better win the Ashes R. You do not want to see the gloating English smug expression when you open your aussie gob in London.
