If you have any other application pending (for example citizenship or sponsorship) , you can check your case status on cic website by typing in your PR card number. Note that PR card number is at the back of the PR card. It is not the same as UCI # which is in the front .
So, if you type in the lost PR card number in the case status check and if it says the number can’t be found, it means that IRCC already cancelled your card.
