I have an open work permit that expires on Feb 1, 2020. I have just been laid off 1 week ago and my process under PNP is at IP2 since July 15. Eligibility has been passed and only background check is missing. Being that close, what happens if the decision is made before I get another job? Do they just let it go or are they going to cancel me the nomination?
