Remember that this period covers the time VO's were on strike. It's not necessarily an accurate representation of the time its taking now. the next update should show times as they really are now that things are getting back to normal. All it means is that, including the statistics for the period of the strike that is now over, 80% of applications will be processed WITHIN the stated period, 20% will take longer.

Australia, for example, says 11 months. A lot of people here are getting theirs within six months. So, a processing time of 11 months doesn't mean necessarily waiting for 11 months. I prefer to take this update as a guide and not worry too much about it.
