I wouldn't recommend you to write UCI number or File number outside envelop because it will be disclosed to external persons too. Write a cover letter with your UCI number, file number, full name, date of birth and place of birth on the top of the letter and place this cover letter on the top of your documents. You can write your NOC category, NOC code and FSW class outside the envelop.

I would say it is not a generic reply because they normally say your file is with visa officer waiting for review but the word "WAITING" is absent in this reply which is a good sign. Another member, dub2can, also received reply from LVO in which LVO inform him that his file is under review and he can send any updated document/form to LVO if he wants to. dub2can shared his reply in main FSW 2013 thread, I am sharing here on his behalf below:

Farhan, Thanks for the update. Sounds good. Here is what i received for my CSE regarding sending updated documentation...

"Thank you for your email regarding your application for permanent residency to Canada.

Please note that your application is currently under review at our London office. Please send any necessary documents and updated forms to our London office, quoting your file number (XXXXXXXXXX) and name. We will be in contact with you in due course with further instructions regarding the processing of your application."

Indeed its a good sign. Though its a common reply for every query.
But interesting part they have mentioned what we were expecting to start the case in early 2014.

yes i agree with you or else they would never update us by sending MR in early 2014....
im sure all r excited...and its getting difficult for me to wait for 1 month also...thnx to this forum where we can share our curiosity too...

The answer to your question is london-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca.

The website recommends using a web-form, which I used when I wanted to update them:
https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london

I got helpful response from LVO when I advised them of change using that form.

Guys, in their email to me, they're saying "early 2014" - plz recall last year almost at the end of 2012 CIC was saying that in early 2013 they would be updating the new FSW criteria for 2013 and I think it was in Feb end or early Mar when they actually announced FSW 2013 criteria. I mean / I feel as per CIC dictionary, EARLY 2014 would mean any time frame starting Jan 02, 2014 to Mar 2014.................coz that is the only way I can comprehend term "early 2014"........what do you guys think about it??

I agree, we have no idea what 'early' means and we can't look to much into it. It is an ambiguous statement that could mean any month in 2014 from Jan to April I think.

LVO is trying to play safe. They are not really being specific as to when exactly in early 2014. Early 2014 could be first quarter between January and April which is still within the time frame set by cic. Let's wait and see. I have ordered for my GCMS note yesterday.
