I have a question. This is bothering me for no reason. When I moved to Canada, I came via UAE. I stayed in UAE for 3 days and then landed in Canada to become PR. Should I get the UAE stamps translated to show that the visit was before I became a PR?

Well. There is no clear answer to your question as per will the officer ask for it or not. She/he may or may not ask for translations. But as long as those stamp are in the passport that covers your eligibility period, it could become a concern to the officer.

I used https://www.docsbase.ca/. They are fast and really cheap! I'd say don't risk it! Translate it and take it with you to the interview.

My ecas changed today:

We sent you a notice on October 16, 2019 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on November 5, 2019 at 1:00 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

It came to my surprise as there is no oath being held in London on Nov. 5th! There is an oath ceremony on Nov. 4th though! I will wait to receive the letter to see what date is on that!

A question from the guys who received oath letter. Did you receive it by mail or email? And do you remember how many days it took to receive it after your ecas status changed?!

So I got my GCMS notes today. Apparently the the time I am going to take test, they have scheduled only 30 people at that time. They put me on schedule on September 6, 2019 for November 7, 2019 which means they probably schedule 2 months in advance.

Does anybody know what does this mean under Clearance tab,

"SECURITY:
SECURITY: 1"

@Han can you check your GCMS notes for something please?

Under ELIGIBILITY tab, sub category ELIGIBILITY ASSESSMENT, All of the due dates are November 30, 2019. Can you check if your due date matches with any of the dates for your oath invite date or oath date? Just curious if the oath is scheduled after the due date on your GCMS notes or before.

The due date on my notes is 11/08/2019, and I am hopefully taking the oath on Nov. 5th which is before that date.

Nothing by mail, only email, a PDF attachment like the invitation for the test.
