Local branch shutdown, but HQ is active

Hi guys,

So the company that I worked for nearly four years, shut down in December 2018. I have all the required letters, however, I haven't obtained the reference letter which indicates my job roles and duties. The problem here is that the Sri Lankan branch has been shutdown, however, the headquarters is running with branches in other countries.

Will I be able to submit a reference letter with my job duties and roles from the HQ which is still active? I may be able to get a document from the Global CEO, to whom I occasionally reported to. Will that suffice? If not, what is the procedure to overcome this hurdle.
