I think LMO processing time greatly vary depending on province, city, current unemployment situation, profession and employers overall conditions. It could vary anywhere between 1 - 16 week. In my case it took less than 2 week but many cases people even wait for more than 12 weeks.

Applied on: 26th March 2013
Got query: 1st July 2013
Replied Query: 3rd July 2013
Got Positive LMO: 22nd July 2013
NOC Code: 2074 Software Developer
Province applied: Ontario
Once again thanks to this group for providing updates and All the Best to all guys who are waiting for results. I will start following the Work Permit thread now

hi everyone...ive been reading the thread for like 20 minutes and suddenly i received an email from my employer about the positive LMO they received from Service Canada Center. I was hired as a Cleaning Supervisor..It was thru my cousin who helped me to get the job.The job is nothing really fancy but ill take it as a stepping stone. It was mentioned in the 4 pages letter the NOC Code, designation, duration of employment, wages, benefits, etc.. My cousin already informed me that my LMO was already on processed since last week. My question is how long it takes before i receive my LMO? By the way, my work will be in Edmonton.

hi..,i'd like to ask if go west job agency in canada is legal. i applied to that agency last december 2013 and got lmo on april 2014,that's what they said.they got my passport and up to now i dont have any news.i'm working here in ksa. i only need is to get my passport back if there's no such agency.just give me an advice what to do..
