LMO processing time

Hi foruaks no absolutely nothing! We don't even have a file number and my employer has been unable to speak with anyone! I called and managed to speak with an offical however told my employer would need to call.. We are about 16 weeks now! Very frustrating, as you know!

Anybody else have news?

I read about some other people that they answered asking the employer to look further for Canadian... but they were waiting for about 2 months only, before that.

I just got an update that IT applications are kept on hold due to the RBC scandal. Can anyone confirm about getting LMO for IT applications applied in past 2 to 3 months? That will confirm my doubts.

Wow, the minimum time to advertise is 15 days, we have not heard anything and would welcome any response, well almost any!!

I have not heard about IT NOC being held up but it would not surprise me.. Hopefully somebody can confirm!!

Hi guys Questions lang....magkakaproblema po ba ako sa visa if ever na mag apply ako ng work permit sa CEM, ganito po kasi yun nakapasa ako sa agency dito sa manila(TOPLINE) ang advice magwait ng two months after 3 weeks naka received ako ng email from owner daw sila ng subway sa BC, Canada(which is true based sa search ko) ang inaplyan ko sa agency dito is food counter attendant pero ang inoofer saken is FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR which is wala akong experience sa position na yun pero may pinadala silang PDF file na naka indicate dun na pasok ako sa qualification nila..ang tanong ko lang based sa mga nabasa ko before sa forum dito na pag wala kang experience sa position na inaaplyan mo possible na madeny....

2nd question: Nainterview na po nila ako(employer) thru skype..ang sabe saken ako daw magpoprovide ng plane ticket ko kasi daw food service supervisor yung inaalok nila saken at mataas yung per hour rate which is $18/hr at hindi food counter attendant...ako po b talaga magpoprovide ng plane ticket ko pag supervisor position?

My employer received a mail from Service Canada to fill up a questionnaire having questions asking if there is any outsourcing activity, since it is an IT application. They want to return this questionnaire in 5 business days through FAX.

Any idea, how long will it take after this? We are already in the 15th week. Last week, the lawyer enquired about the status and Service Canada said it will be processed within 35 business days. They didn't mention exact days. Does this mail mean that my file is under process now?

Has anyone been through the same issue? Any replies will be helpful.

Hi, im new here, i signed a contract from my employer last April 16,2013 and sent it thru the Philippine agency, as of this date no news about the LMO... my employer is from Fort St. John BC and my NCC is 6111. Just want to ask if how many months to secure LMO from HRDC Canada BC?
