Here are some details:

My Status: PGWP expiring on August 16,2014( Toronto)

I studied a 1 year post secondary certificate and have more than 7 years experience in similar field back in India

Job Noc 5241 : Currently on a fulltime job with an Animation company with more than a median pay, about 29$ an hour. What do you think as per chances with the new LMIA rules to extend my work permit. My company is ready to do whatever is needed to as they need me for the project for at least an year more. I have been working for this company since January 2014.

As per the below link, it mentions that my company does not need to advertise before applying LMIA( or LMO earlier) as it is a specialized skill.

I would be glad if you can share some info or suggest as per your knowledge
Thanks

So, it has already expired -

As per the below link, it mentions that my company does not need to advertise before applying LMIA( or LMO earlier) as it is a specialized skill.

This is a dead link - Your employer will have to apply for an LMIA -

I have applied for the work permit extension before it expired. My employer has also applied for the LMIA before that. My question was about the advertising, and why is it a dead link? I see the last update from that link was in July 2014. Could you elaborate jes if i am doing something wrong.
Thanks

Hello,

I am recently graduated and got my open work permit for three yeas.
I got full time NOC B job and my employer is ready to apply for my LMIA.
I am not sure how it will help my PR application.

Your Approved Positive LMIA will give you a boost of 600 CRS points which is enough for an ITA ....I hope that helps.. :)
