LMIA application processing time?

Its strange... I am waiting fr more than 5 weeks n hav hav seen people getting file no within a day or two on this forum... this wait is getting longer

My employer(located in BC) has applied LMIA for Network administrator position on 10th August 2016 and he is still waiting for Interview call. . My status changed to visitor now so i cant do any work now which is going to expire on 6th december.Anyone knows about the timeline on this or having same experience for lmia . please share as i really need help. Also should i wait or apply study permit ..please help...

did you apply for lmia for pr or regular lmia？they have different processing centres

Its the lmia where in i ll get the closed work permit and after 2 pay stab , i ll be eligible for express entry..

Hi guys. My employer wants to apply for tha Lmia. He has already posted the ad. But the problem is the job bank would not let us post the business address and our requirements. Do you think that would be a problem because the ad requirements for Lmia requires those things. Please help. Looking for answers. Thanks.

Applications sent to St. John typically take around two to three month right now.

i applied in may 25 got file no in july asked additional documents in august end.. still no news... APPLIED FOR RETAIL SALES SUPERVISOR POSITION.. APPLIED FROM ALBERTA

I meant office, because LMIA for PR and LMIA for work permit have diffrent processing centres......so, the processing time are diffrent as well

LMAI for work. I think it is so long time for approval.
Is it normal?

As I said, diffrent procsseing centres have diffrent speed, for applications sent to St. John, it usually take around two to three months, sometimes faster. For LMIA sent to Edmonton or Ontario, it could take half a year......
