NOC: 7311 skilled trade
wage: above median for alberta and exact for noc code
application sent via xpress post: October 17
charged and file number: October 22
agent called employer: November 07

Thanks ... hope to hear good news soon .. :)

I'm now in the 12th week of waiting since the application was first sent in. Today is the beginning of the 7th week since a file number and fee was charged.

Hoping that means I'm near the end of the process now. Just want a decision either way now.

Week 8 of waiting. According to the last update I got from my employer the application was assigned to an agent on the 16th of October. I'm expecting something any day now. Certainly by the end of the month as it took around 8-9 weeks first time around when we were denied for not meeting advertising requirements.

How did you check that the status is pending? Did your employer apply online?

My employer phoned them yesterday and asked for file number.. we submitted application by paper and mailed it to them.

I am on 9th week, and even before that I applied on May 23 which was not accepted because of missing information, I don't know what's going on :(
this is really frustrating

I'm on the start of week 8 since my file number, my employer called yesterday and it was pending, without any notes on my file.

How unfortunate, i can only begin to imagine how you are feeling.

Seems the whole TFW is causing quite a stir in whistler and banff and the tourist resorts, employers unable to fill positions, perhaps they will loose the reigns over the next coming months.

sorry to hear that :( after all the painful waiting, this is the most sad part to be refused. Hope you still have other options or maybe re-apply..

Now I am scared and worried about my application as we both have same NOC 6211 however I am from Saskatchewan Province. All we can do is pray.

Application filed on 22nd September. Running into 10th week but still no progress here in Montreal Canada. I was assuming since i applied internally things would be fast however to my surprise they're terribly slow :(
