hey Guys, just a quick question to all of you waiting for LMIA with the same status.

My employer submitted application for new LMIA last Septmeber 28, 2014 he phoned Service Canada and asked for a file number which they gave him on the spot, the status says "PENDING"

So what does it mean? whats the difference between UNDER PROCESS and PENDING?

by the way am from Saskatchewan province NOC 6211 (CAR SHOWROOM SALES SUPERVISOR)

I am not sure and this is just my opinion: When it says "Pending" it means that it's there but they haven't started working on it yet, but "under process" means they did. Maybe I am wrong, I dunno.
Where can you see that status?

How did you check that the status is pending? Did your employer apply online?

Could be days or weeks. Depends on what the reason for the call was.

I have the same question? SC agent phoned my employer on November 07, but my boss didn't answered so he left a voicemail with his contacts. My lawyer and employer are trying to phone agent back since then and it always goes to his voicemail. Maybe my application is just sitting there and waiting for agent to answer his fckin phone. This process is really painfull ???

They asked general questions like why u need to hire TFW... Why this job was not given to Canadian and some other questions regarding advertisement ...but there conversation lasted for atleast 20-25 mins.

Im bit tensed now and waiting. :( already on implied status. :(

Ur Employer should leave voicemail on agent phone with details of company and date he received call so that agent can respond back .. This happened with my employer too as he was driving at the time he got call so he told agent that he will cal back asap and when my employer called back agent didn't picked call and then again called late in evening. So just leave a voicemail.

They did left a message on his voicemail on wednesday. Tried again on friday couple of times - nothing. Scheduled a follow-up for today, i didn't received any new info so probably nothing today again... I am worried that agent maybe went on a vacation or something
