LMIA application processing time?

I & my employer applied LMIA on 8th Sep from Calgary.
I didn't have File No. yet. Last week my future employer asked how things are going on to
Service Canada on the phone.

You may wanna push your employer to constantly ask them for updates, coz in most of cases the latest forms which SC is accepting are dated 18th Sept. So not sure if they still want you to change the forms or they are okay with what u have sent.

My boss phone SC today for an update and they were in receipt of my new information on October 24th (asking for the wage rage information for my job) and it's with a program officer for review - who is that? They did not give him an estimate of when we might have a response but apparently she said there is no restriction on how many times you can call for an update.

My employer called SC today. The agent said call back Friday, by then a decision will have been made.

Interesting how they can't tell you if it's already been rejected... I would assume it's probably in the hands of the final officer who makes the decision and has gone through the rigorous evaluation. Who knows

Our employer has also been told by his lawyer that the lawyer has a phone appt with the officer in Friday so we're hoping for an update then too!
