Can you please share your timelines from when payment was taken and case numbers were given, to how long it then took to get your lmia?

Hi Everyone,

Just an update on my LMIA process. My employer submitted LMO app right before changes to LMIA and was asked to resubmit using LMIA and was asked to restart advertising waiting period. Re-submitted on September 17, 2014. The application form then changed and he had to re-submit again October 1. Then was missing a piece of information the employer clearly provided, resubmitted today, October 7. Keep you posted. My gut says it will be quick turn-around, but who knows. Clearly it is much harder to get LMIA.

Fingers crossed! How long did you wait for the first 3 times between sending the application and getting it returned?

Its been happening since July Bro. Cant get worse than that.
1st Time 1 week
2nd time 10 days
3rd Time 1 month ( After a month wait, they replied that the form is incomplete)

Incomplete forms 3 times? Man I would be losing my mind at my employer!

Annoyingly the same day the file number was received, an email was also received stating incomplete paper work. I've been told not to worry about that. But still, it doesn't look like people in the same department at Service Canada communicate.
