I'm days away from sending in my PR application as common law in land with my partner. I also have a OWP application but have recently read about LMIA.
The NOC number is 7243, I meet all requirements as far as I can see and the owner of my company is going to talk to me about it today.
If I send off my Application for PR with the OWP application, can the company start the LMIA process along side that one?
My current WP is through IEC and expires at the end of March. The processing time on the website says inland OWP is 6 weeks, but I've been told it'l be 3-4 months on here and by an immigration lawyer. So i'll be able to stay but not work. If I get the expedited LMIA it says 10 day processing times. So I thought I could use that as a back up when it gets to the end of March and I still haven't received my OWP?
