Apart from Jobbank or provincial equivalent, does the employer really have to advertise the job in printed media as well or can they only do it on webpages? If the latter, are sites like kijiji etc accepted?

depends on the norm for the occupation and industry. But just a word of advice, many LMOs (now, LMIAs) fail because of inadequate advertising efforts...

Thanks! It's in the food industry (cook).

The way I understand it, the jobbank or saskjobs ad must remain there for 4 weeks before the application + the time required until the LMIA is approved, while the 2 extra ads must just remain for the 4 weeks prior to the application, right?

We have no problem posting the ad in multiple free sites (more than 2) but the packages for non-free sites are crazy high!!
