Live-in Caregivers PR/OWP applicants for 2012 timeline.

Hi everyone,

I submitted my PR/OWP application last January 09, 2012 and Canadian Immigration received it on January 13, 2012. I haven't received anything from them. I tried checking my status on ECAS using the Receipt Number [IMM 5401] but it's not giving me anything.

Does anyone have the same issue as mine? Do you have any other ways of checking your status? Should I write CIC a letter of follow up about my application status?

Please help.

Hello,. I submitted my PR/OWP application last July 23, 2012..I haven't received anything yet either.. I didn't check my status yet.. because I know I will just feel frustrated

Hi, you haven't receive your OWP yet? If so, you should able to check ur e-cas atleast 4 weeks the moment u received ur OWP..

OWP grant: Aug 16, 2012

I received my OWP Aug.20 but signed: Aug 16, 2012
I was able to check my e-cas 4 weeks after receiving a mail from CIC also an e-mail saying the same thing; they received my application last May 30, 2012

I'm happy for you too bad for me coz I didn't received anything either mail or email but I'm pretty sure they received mine last July 26.. hope you don't if I asked, where you came from? and where are you in canada?

no i haven't received my OWP yet. i really don't know why. what should i do? the waiting is really nerve wracking. how come you guys received yours in just three months and here i am close to one year and i got nothing.

@tcb: why don't you try calling the CIC honestly before I received my OWP I called them..and that was Aug 15, it happened that my OWP was signed Aug 16, 2012 and I received it Aug 20, 2012..although I am not really sure if my call made alot of help but why don't you try..

The OWP is ging to be sent by mail? Is your application complete? Under what option did you apply. I ahve a friend who sent her application i July and received her OWP in Oct. Another one sent also in July but the application package was incomplete so the officer asked for more information.
