Guys let us keep praying for faster for faster processing. The latest news release on cic's website says they will be working on clearing the back log in 2013. Just hope it includes us LIC.

hi! i sent my application august 29, cic received it august 31. i didn't pay the additional $150 for OWP so i paid that november 4 after seeing some posts here that we need to pay that.. and i am single.

@heroineBLG - as you can see one of them also didnt receive any email but still got her OWP but to make sure you can call the CIC...there's no harm in calling CIC

hi guys! i called CIC 5 minutes ago (november 16, 11:15 a.m.) i asked them why i didn't get any emails compared to other applicants. its confusing cause 7 people from the timeline who submitted application 3rd week of august and 1st wk of received confirmation email.... and they told me as of today the envelope they are processing is dated August 12 and so my envelope is still on the waiting list.
