Hi job-seeker and the rest of the group,

Have you heard about somebody sent application for OWP+PR in less than 2yrs?? I mean after completing 3,900 hrs of working for those who are working with overtime?

According to CIC new rule:
>no more second medical exam for live-in caregivers
>caregivers can now apply after completing the 3,900 hrs w/c is equivalent to 2 yrs of working. It will be advantage for those who are working w/ OT granted that their OT pay is included in their payslip.
Hope to hear from you guys..
Cheers! :)

Hi Anne,

One forum member submitted under the "3900 hours option". Can't find the post right now but will post the link when I am able to locate it. Looks like there was no second medical now; probably suee's case. It's 3900 hrs in 22 months according to CIC.

Im so happy my husband got his application kit today. What we did is my mom went to Makati post office to check if we have letters there, and there it is. The letter stamped June 16, 2010.

December 08, 2009 - submit my application for PR (LCP)
December 10, 2009 - CIC receive my application ( track it through canada post)
March 01, 2010 - Started processing (thank God!)
June 29, 2010 - kit for Lc2

Hopefully tomorrow we will send those kit to embassy.

Thanks a lot Job-seeker!
God bless! :D :D

@my desire and lai1279- nakakainspire naman mga thread nyo, pwedi po magtanong? kc po mag 24 months na ako sa august 1, and i am already bc readying my papers, di b ipapass yun after ng august 1 ko d b? And yung para sa asawa, yung bang forms na dapat kung sagutan eh, dapat sagutan nya rin separately yung forms? please enlighten me, papakuha ku na rin b cya ng NBI clearance and isasama ku rin ba yung passport photocpies nila and photos?thanks

@rosellyalung

meron ng 2 options pra magpasa ka as PR, yung unang option eh kpag makabuo k ng 24 months then ipapasa mo na applicaton after mong mabuo ang 24 months, yung 2nd nmn kapag nakatotal k na ng 3900 hours minimum ng 22months, ngyon dahil ang plano mo ata eh yung option 1, ipasa mo yung papel mo a day after ng ika 24 months mo, pra cgurado, ang tawag sa form natin eh LC1 yun yung form na hiningi natin d2 sa Canada, yung sa dependants naman ntin eh LC2, marereceive nila yung form na yun sa pinas kpag malapit kna mag-open permit, pakuhanin mo na ng passports, marriage cert, atska bcert ang mga dependants mo, wag muna ang nbi kc nag-eexpire yun, pati ata cenomar wag muna, madali lng nmn kuhanin yun, kunin mo nlng yun kpag sa plgay mo malapit ng dumating ang form nila. yung mga dependants mo sa pinas ipaready mo na yung mga remttance form, cards wedding photos nyo mag-asawa, atska personal history nya since 18 years old xa, matagal pa nmn yun maybe in 6-7 months pa yun darating sa knya, pero in the meantime focus ka muna sa application mo na ipapasa this august. basahin mo na yung mga reuirements atska check mo yung passport mo kung kelan mageexpired.
