Guess what guys , I just got off phone with CIC agent ,I was sent two letters, my open work permit and my interview paper for PR and my interview is Novermber 1 2011. wooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ,i dont have to wait another 16 months for second approval.



Hi Monalizy, congrats. U got your PR interview date already? How is that possible? So soon. Did you call them or you received it with you OWP? I don't get it. How come those things came together.

We received your application for permanent residence on April 9, 2010.

We started processing your application on June 23, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

We sent you a letter on September 6, 2011 to xxxxx, about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

Now I can't wait to check my mail, I'll go crazy over the weekend if it's not there on Saturday! I wonder what's in that letter?

I am not yet satisfied even though i have been on OWP since January 28,2011 because a half of my life is still missing my dependants in the Philippines has a long way to go there application as LC2 til now has no update yet in the ecas.

Same here , i'm counting down to monday too, my letters were sent on sept 6th too. I didnt receive any letter yet, i only called them and they told me , i will receive two letters and one is my OWP permit ,the other is the appointment letter i will take to Etobicok on Nov 1. That was what the agent told me but Monday will decided what i have in the letters.

no, I'm not from Toronto. I'm from BC coast. Single, no dependents, one employer. Employed at the moment, but not as a live-in anymore, since I got the OWP. I thought I'd just give more info, just in case
