I keep following the updates here and i get frustrated. but now some were receiving their OWP, I feel there's hope for me too ... I missed my family so much.

I don't want to stop with the party, but but my question is:

Because CIC started to show some improvement in our process, It doesn't mean that we will stop to fight...Are we?

Seems they are processing the single applicants faster...to decrease the backlog...but and who has family?

I'm not sure, I'm a single applicant and I'm a little happy with the news...but it's enough?

WE WERE SUPPOSE TO HAVE OUR PR ALREADY!!!! Can we understand it? The process should take 9 months at most and not 16...This is not buying me...are you?

Please let's keep fighting, organizing meeting and who is Edmonton please attend the meeting on september 14 and ask those questions straight to JASON KENNEY, He will be there...PLEASE!!!!

Even who got the OWP, please keep with us, help your friends that are still in the line...

@ palusa where do you live?i suggest you go to cic website and check if there's a lcp association in your area. they will give you free advice. they will even act as representative on your behalf. why would cic let you wait 16mos before sending you d letter?anyways,please let me know what happen.

@ Sarah cunanan I live here in Vancouver. Before they sent me client history then I answered all the I passed to them. Yes I'm going to do that ur advice. Thank you!

Hi everyone,,,, I extend my great salute to those who already received their OWP and hoping for those who still waiting not to loose hope, like me ...Since there's already an improvement to each cases, its really hard for us(still waiting) not to be strong and face daily activities of our lives where there's a limitation, which is... we are not allowed to work for the reason that our work permit expired etc.... Let us reunite in the way of praying sincerely, for our family and for our future...

My TRV was expired on May 2011, and now I have a valid Work Permit (till May 16th 2012)
I have to sent my paper for TRV to Seattle (because I live in AB). I don't know which application I have to send to Canadian Consulate (I thinl it is IMM 5257, but I am not sure)
Could you please help me with advise? Have I sent application for TRV online or just by mail?

hi to all fellow foriegn workers yesterday i have the chance again talked to my employer's sister who's working at cic vegeriville,alberta.
she told me that live in caregiver applicants that applied for owp/pr starting september/october 2010 and up can expect reduce processing time for 1st stage approval, reduce processing time for pr approval for single applicants,But married applicants and approval of lc2 depends on Canadian Consulate processing time abroad.processing tme being updated quarterly at cic website for 1st stage and 2nd stage are just an estimated time,application are done case to case basis,Mr.Jason Kenny already issued them memo to fast track the processing time of every applicants in every class specially the LIVE IN CAREGIVERS ..i ask her also about the "decision made and you will be contacted" that some of us here have already got from cic ecas, based on her experienced as a visa officer it is that most likely the applicant will be approved for PR and that if the applicant have dependants, all LC2 informations must be received 1st from the Canadian Consulate abroad where the LC2 have applied before a PR approval can be granted to the Principal (LC1) and then to the LC2
