Live-in caregiver PR applicants for April,May and June timeline

Hello, guys. I just received my owp today and they give me 4yrs work time, but I didn't receive any letter about the interview about PR. Does it mean I still have to wait another 17-18months to get the PR?

what does the remark says in your OWP? if it says Your application for PR has received initial approval, wait for another week or so.

I dont understand how come it says Pending LIC APR on your OWP?
The decision has not been made yet?
Im wondering if you needed to restore your IMM status bcoz CIC is working on applications received up to 4 June 2010 that means you should get the first stage approval instead of Pending LIC APR OWP.

those who got their OWP in less than a year all have that remark I guess.I think they automatically gave everyone an OWP while they are working on the applications so everyone will stop complaining and are free to do whatever they want

Expect the unexpected!!!

Three times I checked our mailbox today! On the third time, exactly the post deliverer was on our mailbox, sorting the mail he should deliver!

Now.. It is on my hand! The document from Vegreville, dated December 05, 2011.

And a document from Etobicoke, dated December 08, 2011.

From Vegreville stated that: Your application for your WORK PERMIT and a WORK PERMIT for your spouse have been approved. (I'm wonder why there is no remarks and the expiration date of OWP was not noted!)

But.. the second letter from Etobicoke was more excited!!!

It is stated here that: I am please to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled on December 19, 2011. (by next week! wow!!!)

CORRECTION ITS NOW 22MONTHS PROCESSING TIME FOR LIVE IN CAREGIVER DEPENDANTS IN THE PHILIPPINES...

Parekoi its said 3 mos after i recieve this letter they will recieve application form and pass it wait for 3 more mos for medical, processing time for these cases is currently approximately 15 mos from the date of receipt of the completed application form,did you got these same letter on your 1st stage approval? Where did you know its 22 mos? Is it maybe we are different coz your dependantsgot lc2 kit before your owp,mine is after?
