@searso31= sorry just read your question now. I havent been in this forum for awhile.... just busy. anyways, about your question. yes i did received the same letter and called cic right away to ask about it and the agent told me its just a generic letter they sent to everybody when they give them the OWP, i havent received any interview letter yet. still waiting for it.
those singles in this forum recieved their owp.. how lucky they are..congratulations!

All this waiting can really be depressing. I have always been a person with a positive outlook in life but they have put us in a helpless situation. This is not what I have signed up for years ago when I entered the program. We are not asking for a dole out, what we are yearning we have already worked for. Its totally unfair that applications has just froze and I don't believe for a second that this is a normal administrative backlog. Something has happened and they made a decision to freeze applications with dependent.
@ agiHun , congrats in advanced! I' m happy for you too! I just wish everybody here will receive OWP and PR! Good luck to all of us!!!

It was found a Slaver working at immigration ministry, His name is Jason Kenney!"
The slaves were brought to Canada to work as caregivers, with promises of landed Immigration status fast as soon as they work for 2 years but the Mrs. Jason is holding those slaves's PRs and making their work with no support, any health care and a very low paid cheque."
At the same time Canada needs their labour because the government do not have any daycare for the population.
If you are concern about child slaves in asia, refuges from east europe wars, you should look to your community that you will find out that there are a lot of people here in Canada working under conditions with hope of getting their PR, but the government is holding it.
Why? Ask your questions to Sr Jason Kenney...I believe he will be happy to answer you...."

krizzy, are you from edmonton? one member here from bc and a june 7 applicant already had her interview for pr. AS far as i know you are May applicant. So im confused why you dont have interview date yet. Im from edmonton too and waiting for interview date as well. i hope they will call me very soon.khrizzy said:

Hi AgiHun, I noticed a while ago we had the same timeline, You will get your OWP this coming week, I got mine Oct 30 but the weird think on my situation is that my information is no longer available on internet. I don't know if this is good or bad, but at least I got the OWP. Hopefully I get my PR soon. good luck to u too.AgiHun said:

I am caregiver and I believe I am not going to be critical.Our reallity is getting but with the time. Now we need to wait 16 month in a normal situation for get an open work and another 16 months for be Permanent resident.it is in total 32 months .this time of waiting is more that the 2 years since I came to Canada and I sended my application for PR.
How about my dreams . I came to Canada with a Lot of hope and I have for the future. To study and work hard when I will get the PR. And have a different life and pay my taxes. When I think abouty dream are so far to be reach. It is hard. You are no given the opportunity to people could study and give to this country his job and his effort
