Hello everybody,

I have question to ask all my fellas and the forums admins, about the Permanent Residency in Saskatchewan.
I am Currently studying one yr PG course in Toronto.(in 2nd sem).
I want to ask, that Are there any Limitation on the years to live in Saskatchewan after getting PR in Saskatchewan, means Is there some time(months or year) you need to live in Saskatchewan after PR and can't work in other State.(2 yrs from hearsay). Actually I want to get PR ASAP, and i m in 1 yr study program , so i think this is good way for PR.
I researched a lot on Saskatchewan PR, but unable to find the limitation on time of living after PR, so i thought maybe posting here could bring some help.

Other help on this topic is also appreciated.

Jazz

You will sign declaration form to live there, I think you have to live Saskatchewan at least till getting citizenship.

No limitations. You can move anywhere after you receive PR. Canada gives permanent residency for Whole Canada not for one province. But by the time you get your PR, you already have lived in the province for 2 years or so that satisfies the government. As long as you pay taxes to the government, you are good after getting your PR.

Positive part is there is no limitation as soon as you get the landed immigrant status. Negative part is people are using Saskatchewan Nominee program to get PR without any commitment to province. In long term, it will change the policy and that will impact people who are really on demand and worth to add value in Canadian job market.

Already in canada
Saskatchewan is a great province with lots of opportunity and SINP is a great program. system abuse will make it definitely difficult for upcoming genuine immigrants. well, what else can i say?

I echo mysteryocean.

I am very much thankful to Saskatchewan Immigration and acknowledge that they have best program compere to other PNP. My case was very straight forward and i'm settled in SK. I think the influx of immigration applications SINP are mostly PG students who are moving from other province to get PR. Hope i am wrong, but i doubt how many of them will stay here in long term.
