LIC Peaceful Public Protest in Toronto Oct/2011

I am in Toronto and I will be one with whoever want to do a peaceful public protest in Toronto about all we are going through on the Live in Caregiver Process.

Please, post on this forun ONLY if you want to attend and/or help setting up the Protest.

Things we need to find out to make this happen:

1. Are you coming?
2. Is Thanksgiving a good day for you? (monday, Oct 10)
3. Where is our protest taking place? What street/park? What time? Do you have an idea?
4. What are we going to say/protest about?
5. How are we going to do it? Big papers saying a few impact phrases and/or hand out flyers with more info about our situation, speak loud on megaphone... What can you help with?

Lets answer these questions first and keep going from here so we can get this really happing

Someone needs to be responsible to set up out way to an immigration office. The biggest one in Toronto will be better! Let's keep the time hide for now... The way too, we should make an email list....make sure there's no construction in our way....

Important! We can not pass through hospital in our way too, because of ambulances...

OUR POLITICIANS HAVE "GANGED UP" AGAINST US TO MAKE OUR LIVES A MISERY THUS FAR- E.G Long processing time for OWP, more long processing time for Permanent residence, another long processing time for family reunification and finally , 10 to 15 more year towards Citizenship !

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO "GANG UP" AGAINST THEM AND TELL THEM THAT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ?

IF WE DON'T HAVE THAT COURAGE YET, WHEN ARE WE GOING TO LEARN TO GIVE THE MOST COURAGEOUS AMONGST US THE MORAL SUPPORT THEY RIGHTFULLY DESERVE ??

Lol....... 4 replies , 46 views and yet we complain . Where are all the participants in the April applicant thread ? I guess most people are just shying away . People are suppose to join this thread and participate but now u will not see them but they will be in the other thread complaining .

Well I Honestly don't know what to say . Facebook LICs kept adding up but they won't join in the protect talk .

I have to be true with you guys...I'm very disappointed with other caregivers that come here in this forum to read informations and now that we have to fight together they chicken off.

It's ridiculous this!!!! There's nothing wrong with a protest...WE are not doing a riot...anyway we will be 5 on the streets of Toronto...I cant take 3 friends because I'm in Vancouver...If I go I will flight and I don't believe that my friends will join me, they even won't join me if was in Vancouver.

At least we still have to keep making noise and more noise, maybe the poster idea...How many says that could hang the poster in their city? 3...very disappointed....

DISSAPOINTED,FRUSTRATED and HUMILIATED This is how we feel the 5 of us caregivers of this forum from Toronto when we attended Atty. Fabregas Symposium on live in caregivers last August. Infront of our fellow LIC's that attended also the symposium, Rik-Rik 1 of the 5 that attended looks like a fool to everybody trying to invite and convince every LIC's to join our planned strike, they're just smiling and playing deaf not even 1 of them bothered to ask Why? Monalizy and LCPcaregiver was right when they told me that afternoon, "just a waste of time and useless" when many of us here in this forum and also in the Facebook group are just good in complaining but when its time to do the action a few will stand up to fight for there rights. WELL?? i won't be surprised that this will end up in another DISSAPOINTMENT due to lack of cooperation among our fellow LIC's... Again eventhough i received my owp 9 months ago i'm still with you guys! and Count me in!!

It was found a Slaver working at immigration ministry, His name is Jason Kenney!"​

I can email you and then you print and hang in walls, post and community centres...
