Level of education for last year university student

I was wondering, if someone is in his last year as a university student should he choose his level of education as high school diploma?
And should he notify the IRCC about his situation?
I am getting married soon and my wife is in her last year and I will be adding her to my onging EE file and I wanted more clarification on this point.

If you are the primary applicant and you don't intend to evaluate or claim points for her education, don't list any education for your wife and choose none in the EE profile. After you receive an ITA, you will have a Personal History section for her in which you can list all her education including the ongoing degree. In this case, you will not be asked to evaluate her education. Good Luck!
