Hi, I would like to ask for an advice regarding my current situation. I came here last May 4,2014 to work under the LCP. My Philippine passport, TRV and WP got expired January 22nd. I applied to renew my passport Nov.20 at the phil. consulate, but it was released February 12th. Now, I'm on process of sending my application. I understand that since I'm out of status, I need to apply for restoration and a work permit too. I will still be working with the same employer. Is an itinerary travel document necessary as a supporting document? I tried to do this application online, but since I can't upload an itinerary document, i can't proceed with the payment. I'm quite confuse, looking at the checklist for paper application IMM5556 it says "photocopy of valid return ticket, if available" which i understand as an optional document. Since I'll still be working with the same employer, do i need to submit an LMO? Please anyone enlighten me. I'm very confuse. Thank you po.

Almost 3 weeks and still no schedule for interview..

Could u pls share some idea about this guys.

I am from Vancouver too, Ive been waiting for 5 weeks now since my DM/PPR last Jan 23. I keep calling CIC but they are telling me just to wait because Vancouver local CIC handles the interview schedule now and Vancouver has 5-6 months back logs. We are almost on the finish line but need to wait for more. I'ts frustrating since I already have all my plans visiting my family this April and everything was put on hold because they don't send interview schedule. Hoping and praying we will get it soon!!

My LC1 is from Vancouver. We had our passport request last July 2014 waiting for 6 months and 5 days for interview...grabe ang tagal nila magbigay...lagi din nag follow up pero yun nga ang sabi until dumating na yung 6 month nag take action na yung CIC nagpadala sila ng email sa Vancouver

Yeah! It's really hard to wait... sometimes makes me paranoid trying to figure out what could be wrong or missing with our application making it behind from other 2013 and some i know from 2014...

But faith in God's plan on His perfect time is indeed a relief to my worries...

waiting period is 6 months from the time you received your pr approval. Im in my 5th month now nect month will be 6 months of waiting untill now no schedule yet in vancouver. It ried to call cic so many times and every time they say the same thing. Wait for 6 months :-(

Is it the same as ur approval email ?

I received my approval email through inbox then i checked my
Junk file then by accidentally deleted the content
but i think i should receive it through inbox since i received all my letters regarding my application there.

Hi Everyone,

I need help urgently.Please did anyone have to apply for extension of OWP? If so, did you use the form IMM5710E?
I am also worried about the fact that my new job is part time might affect my application, since cic prefers full time employment.
Please can someone confirm these?

My Husband (dependent) received an email asking him to submit IMM 0008 which is the generic application form.. Is there any dependent who has been asked to submit this form coz this is a bit confusing.. i thought it's only the LC1 that needs to comply this form..
