I got an email saying my application has been updated.
That's all.
 
Applied: September 27th
Updates : November 14 and Jan 13 (second update was for approval)
Status :approved and application closed
Email notice: Jan 13
Mail delivery : waiting.
 
I got my approval today.
However, instead of getting 3 years work permit, i got 1.5 year work permit because my passport is going to expire in 2017.
Sucks.

Date of submission: aug 20
Blank updates: oct 31, jan 14
Approval : jan 15
Application: online

Thanks a lot. Actually I re-applied on 17 August. I was issued 18 months PGWP for my 18 months course initially. I should have got 3 years as my most of classmates got 3 years. SO, I reapplied with the help of lawyer and got 3 years now.

Hey dipgill,

Could you please give me the contacts of your lawyer? I have the same issue but quite not sure what to do. I called CIC in October and they told me the amendment would take up to 3 months but ever since no reply :(

Hi jubear. I need ur help. I am having this issue that i applied on october 2nd and yesterday i got approval. Although i attached both of my passports with the application one that was due to expire on march 24 2016 and another that will expire in 2025. It took more than 3 months to approve and this is what i got. 2 month permit. I guess i might have to apply again for extension. But i dont know how please help.
This is so painful.

I applied for PGWP on 18 Sept, 2015, got CIC's request to submit the additional document on 8 Jan. I provided the document on 12 Jan.

As of today, I have not received CIC's approval

Anyone knows how long did it take from the time you provided additional document till you get CIC's approval? Pls share

Can you tell me what was the additional document ?

After providing the additional document as requested by CIC, did you receive confirmation message as it is stated in My CIC account?

As I did not receive the confirmation message, so I have been very worried

My timeline as follows

Online PGWP submitted on :18 Sept, 2015
Request to submit additional document:8 Jan
Document provided: 12 Jan
Status: Open as of today 18 Jan
