Latest CAIPS / GCMS notes forms and how to order?

this is file storage area, where they keep the file till due date while waiting for docs or security checks etc, in my openion. NEKEOL

I had ordered GCMS for my relative too - It also shows Location as PA - Put Away. I had thought that file may have been transferred to Paris but that doesn't seems to be the case as alot of applicant's files are showing the same.

Please share as it been 6+ months since I did medicals but no PPR yet

Location: PA Put away
(in GCMS) This is file storage area(waiting), where VO keep the file till Due date, while waiting for requested docs, medical results, Quota due time or security checks etc, in my openion. Next process is mentioned some where is activity, application file transfer or in Notes, read the GCMS, u will understand. but nothing is adverse, just wait. NEKEOL

Dear frnds I am a resident of Saudi arabia. i applied two years back, and the employer created a doubt in my case by sending a letter to VO against me that I am a fraud and submitted fake docs. Now according to my CAIPS notes, job verification will be done again. Wat u guys think, can Field inquiry or third party inquiry will be done apart from calling or contacting my employer? Is it possible in Saudia that some one from Canadian High commision or consulate or LVO visit my employer or company? Your suggestions are needed.

2) Should i need the principal applicant's consent for the same?
3) There is a 4a or 4b to choose physical file or electronic file? Which one should we select.

If you are doing application on someone's behalf than for sure you have to ask for their consent and they have to sign the application. Remember it is their application that you are just facilitating. Also to see any of their app's info, you would again need their consent.

It is highly likely that they would perform verification again and it could be the same through your employer and/or they may call for an interview too. I hope everything works out for you.

Why are yo mentioning it twice about the consent. Can you please give more details

I am starting this thread because of repeated enquiries on how to order latest CAIPS / GCMS and what forms we need to download. So here we go once for all. Many thanks.......


1) Sir Kanamen is doing it for free.

2) But if you want to order it on your own there are two ways.

a) If you have a friend / relative in canada it would cost you just $5 and you will get that in around 30 days.

b) If you don't have a relative or friend in Canada then you can get it from websites and it would cost around $25-$40 and you will get in six to eight weeks..

a) If you have a relative / friend in Canada

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

Now according to latest IMM5563E form you can even pay fees online if you are not living in Canada and there is no need to fill any credit card form. Pay fees online, get receipt, fill it and then scan and attach with application. Its very easy. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

After payment take 2 copies of print out of receipt. Keep one copy for yourself and attach other with application.

Ask your relative to provide copy of his Canadian passport or PR card and copy of his recent bill or bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada

Ask him to scan everything and send everything by email to

atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca


b) If you don't have a relative / friend in Canada

You will get the Same thing in GCMS if you apply yourself or through any website.
No difference in GCMS.
