dear cocknbull,

after how many months should someone apply to get CAIPS notes after in process with date to extract the maximum information from the caips ? your advice is always appreciated.

Maybe this helps:

I got "We started processing your application on May 16, 2012. ", and ordered GCMS notes in first week of June.
On June 27th I received my medicals and on July 5th I received the GCMS notes.

My advice is that you should order asap and you will lear much needed information.

thanks a lot buddy for your thoughts, appreciated,i have ordered caips already this week, BUT you see, as we are not so lucky in LVO, it takes around 3-5 months to get MR after "we reviewed .....start processing on...." SO, i am curious, when is the best time to order caips after in process with date to get maximum info. by the way, how much info. did you receive from caips after 15 days from in process date?? best of luck with your Med.

On top of what we already knew, We found out from GCMS the following:
- that I was awarded 68 points with the eligibility stage "passed",
- that they did not award to my spouse any points even if she has 13 years if studies and many trade certificates,
- that they called my current employer and verified my reference letter, (my employer did not inform me about the call)
- that the criminality verification is "passed"
- that the MF should be send to us (which we already received by email)

I wish you to get your Meds soon 8) 8) 8)

Hi!

It normally takes 30 days to receive via a relative in Canada. I urge you to ask your uncle to call or email them and enquire about your notes. Ideally your uncle should have asked them earlier to provide request number and approximate date to receive notes.

Their email is

ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca

and telephone no is

001 -613-954-5028

001-888-242-2100

Thanks

Thanks a bunch my friend.

I found on some pages the 15(1) mention but only on the pages with security notes.
On some of them I can observe that it was "cropped" out the word "passed"

Can you shine some light on what HIRV means?

Many thanks,
AC

Hi!

Ordering CAIPS / GCMS is always helpful. Least you need a file number or first AOR / PER given to you. You should order first before going in process to see if everything is ok in paper screening and if any concerns raised by CIO or program assistant at your visa office. If there are any concerns it is advisable to send required docs before hand to avoid delays and fast processing. If after going in process you don't hear anything from them like medicals or updated docs you should order CAIPS / GCMS again to see what is going on.

Thanks

dear cocknbull, i applied for CAIPS via my consultant of canada on 5 july, BUT, they told me it will take 2 months to get my CAIPS, do you think its because of consulting farm hence more time takes and if applied personally takes 30 days? appreciate your reply.

Hi!

Yes that is true otherwise if you apply directly via a relative it takes 30 days maximum or if you apply via website it takes 45 days or so.

Thanks

Hi!

Extracted date will be the date you submit request means you will get CAIPS which are dated 5 july 2012.

Thanks
