having read your above post I checked the email in which I got caips notes and found 15(1) international affairs and defense of the Access to Information act is mentioned.

On further minutely checking the caips notes found-
CRIM passes X 2
however there is space before Crim, means sufficient space for more alphabets and importantly the C is little chipped.

Having said the above, later in the notes Sec crim for both applicants is 1.

PS- I have travelled to UK twice, could be the 15(1) act is related to that??

Do let us know which part of the notes you have observed 'whitener marks'.

thanks
M

Hi!

This is but tricky. First of all you will see in text of email you get from ATIP authorities, they talk about exemption of some info under act 15(1). It can be under any parts of notes i-e whitener be put any where under security / criminality etc... But this act 15(1) is of no serious concern, For people with 16(1)(c), I have seen job verification being done...Good luck...

Can I apply directly with reasonable fees.....?.

You can't apply directly for CAIPS by yourself if you are not living in Canada. You will need help by some one who is living in Canada or you need to use website like law point ( http://www.visafile.info/). Thanks

Hi Seniors,

Please guide me to understand GCMS.

I got GCMS on 28.06.2012.

As per the GCMS : They have given me 72 points.

Medical : Passed
Criminality : Passed

But i could not find any BFD's on that even no all the due date also passed.

For Security i am not able to understand , if they have started or not ....No start date, no due date, no status...Only written "Security Screening". What to understand from this please guide.

Regards,

Sonu

Most probably security dates (start, due date) are hidden (do you see a whitener be placed there on some kinda dates). This is normal and it refers to act 15(1) where some info is exempted not to be released.

Do you see 15(1) written any where in your GCMS notes and in GCMS email did you get this kind of text
"The processing of your request is now complete and I am pleased to enclose the documents requested. Certain information qualifies for exemption pursuant to section 15(1) International affairs and defence of the Access to Information Act."

Thanks

Friends,

I had applied my first GCSM notes through Lawpoint.ca.
They charged me 25$.
They have only one consent form to sign.
They make process very easy and short.

Hi!

As I advised you before you don't need to panic. I can't say they have finished verifications but it appears they are satisfied with your docs. Your file is now forwarded to senior officer for review. There is nothing wrong and please keep your kool, eventually you will get medicals.

Thanks

I received my GCMS yesterday.

could not find anywhere BFD, but I found out that they called my employer already.

Also I do not understand the meaning of DAB in the statements "email received about status; ref. to DAB"
or "received documents about POF and PCC.... ; ref to DAB"

Anybody knows what DAB means?
My VO is Bucharest.

I got my gcms notes yesterday.

I came in process last month anf nothing has started yet, security criminality etc. My medical due date is although 12 July 2012. I donot understand this as they havent started any activity so how could they send medicals. Experts your comments please...

They have given me 72 points and have not awarded 4points for spouse education. So should I point out or I am good to go? Already have passed 67 point barrier. Please.advise on this one as well.

Thanks

Hi!

For BFD check page 2 under application assignment. Due date here is your BFD . DAB can be name of your visa officer or person looking at your file.

Thanks

That medical due date of 12 July 2012 is just an approximate date they put in every applicant's notes. It is normally one year after you have filed your application. You can ask for your spouse points if you want to but you are in no danger here so its up to you entirely.

Thanks

Thanks a bunch my friend.

I found on some pages the 15(1) mention but only on the pages with security notes.
On some of them I can observe that it was "cropped" out the word "passed"

Can you shine some light on what HIRV means?

Many thanks,
AC
