Latest CAIPS / GCMS notes forms and how to order?

Hello guys,

I am in Canada and want to apply for GCMS notes. Can anyone guide how can I apply? Which option do I need to check (Privacy act or access to information act)?

I applied for GCMS notes before on June 18, 2013 and didn't get any response so thinking that I might have made a mistake in my application.

Any response/guidance would be appreciated

Under the both act you will receive the same GCMS note. Just the difference between two is fees. Under the access to information act you need to pay $5 and under privacy act it's free. after submitting a request on june 18 did you receive an auto confirmation e-mail from atip department that they received your request? if not that then you must have put a wrong email address. hence you didn't receive it. If you did receive confirmation then email to atip and they will track it.

I get my GCMS notes today. In Notes what is COST RECOVERY - COMPLETED. what it means?
please guide me.

mine also says complete. It is user fees for services which is processing fee you sent with your application.

COST RECOVERY UNIT IN CHC IS THAT DEPARTMENT/UNIT ,THAT DEALS ALL MATTERS RELATED TO RPRF.
IT MEANS THAT IN YOUR CASE THE CAST RECOVERY UNIT HAS CONFIRMED THE PAYMENT/RPRF

Thanks ffarin11, I got confirmation from ATIP. I am going to send email to ATIP for tracking. Do I need to reply on the same email or is there any other email ID to be used?

reply @ atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca and give them your temporary tracking number and all other information such as name uci number visa office etc.

in GCMS mentioned in "notes" by visa officer like this:

TEXTOCS RECD.IN REGISTRY ON 29 JAN 2013 - COPY OF FRENCH PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE == DOCS FWDD TO REGISTRY TO BE ATTACHED TO FILE NO ACTION REQUIRED.

here "NO ACTION REQUIRED" means what? is visa officer don't want any docs from my part or he will not see my french documents.

Please clarify my dought.

in my opinion, provisionally passed means one Program Assistance passed your documents and your file will be reviews by VISA officer then you will be finally passed.
french Docs are accepted and they will not verify just it will be attached in your file for future marks calculation or documents Background check. they will verify if required or they will verify only one or two documents. NEKEOL

the older files are under system of CAIPs and new files are under GCMS but purpose is the same only format is different.
you can order using www.visafile.info and you can get more info from the same website as well.

visit visafile.info for caips notes details if u r out of canada then you can not apply yourself. but if u r in canada then u can apply there your self.

yes I requested two times and paid by credit card and got gcms with in time limit of 45 days. I will apply again next month to see my Brought Forward Date or my file current progress since April 2013.
visit thier site u will get some further info.
