Hi Cock & Bull:
Excellent thread Bro. I need help on a question.

1. In form 5563 E, in "Information Requested" should i tick "Status of an Application" or "Immigration File in Canada/ Permanent Residence".

Hi Cock'n'bull, At what intervals should CAIPS be ordered, in mean hw many months distance should one keep for ordering the next CAIPS?

Hi Cocknbull and others,

I had appliled for the GCMS notes through e-mail.
Do they send acknowledge e-mail except the AUTOREPLY one?
And how many days they are taking these days?

Thanks

Hi!

They don't send any acknowledgement. It normally takes 30 days to get notes. After 4-5 days of applying you can also ask them to give you request no and approximate date to get the notes. Thanks

Hi!

There are many things to be considered. Ordering after your BFD always helps. But you can also check that if nothing significant coming in notes then there is no point ordering again and again as you will get the same information. CAIPS / GCMS normally helps those people where visa office has raised concerns about their files or interview needs to be scheduled. So don't make an habit of ordering CAIPS / GCMS, order only when needed. Thanks

Hi!

Whatever MPR means but one thing looks certain that they both are linked i-e ECU and MPR. So ECU-MPR is a one unit and if you know its ECU who does the second review and issues medicals so MPR is definitely linked to a unit which can issue medicals . Thanks

Sorry for delayed reply. As you are requesting notes on her behalf you do need a consent from her. Thanks

@ cockndbull please help this guy BMT he needs your help-

Hi Folks, I got my CAIPS/GCMS notes yesterday. And based on the information, I got 71 points but there are some codes that I am unable to decipher such as:

PSDEC 9 21-03-2012

PS DECISION 9 21-03-2012 SC

PAPER FILE SENT TO PA FILE BF'D TO RET ON: 23-03-2014 MICROLOCATOR

Can anyone help me to understand these codes and its meaning?

- BNT

Hi!

PSDEC - 9 means file was transferred to GCMS (Global Case Management System) so on 21-03-2012 file was transferred to GCMS. . His / her Next BFD is 23-03-2014 and some one called RET will look at his / her file on that date. Thanks
