Hi,

I just got a Passport Request last week for Permanent Immigration with SK Nomination.

Is this scenario possible?

1.) Land at YVR
2.) Declare that I will be staying in YVR with my relatives till I get my PR card; have my PR card delivered there (30-45 days), nothing to bring then
3.) During my 30-45 days, travel to Saskatchewan to look for a permanent place of stay and if possible a job
4.) Wait for my PR card
5.) Go back to my home country to pick my personal stuff
6.) Come back to SK

There are lots of forums on landing with PR but just too many to find the answer I want...

You need to check the conditions of the program. New Brunswick, for example, requires you to settle in the province 30 days after your arrival in Canada. The info might be in one of the forms you filled out.

Good luck!

If you say that to a CBSA officer..trust me, you will be on your way back home with your family. Make sure you have a connecting flight going to SK right after. Once you have landed, you are then going to be covered and given rights to move freely between provinces in Canada under the Canadian charter rights. If you make such mistake, you will be on your way back home, i am telling you this cuz i'm scared you might be contemplating doing it.
