Guys I will be landing on 27 september hopefully, But I do have few questions.

1. Funds I don't require I know, but they still ask for how much money I am carrying. Do I need to tell them how much money I have in canada or just how much cash I have in wallet. As I live in canada I wont be carrying much.

2. I am out of status at the moment. My study permit was expired in August 2013. I applied for extension of status as visitor one month before expiring of study permit. Outcome of that thing is yet to come as it takes 120 days for paper based application. So would they give me hard time at landing for staying in Canada one month after expiring of study permit although I am in implied status but I don't have any proof of that other than mailing receipt.

3. After landing should I withdraw my extension application and apply for money refund or they gonna do it their self when processing it( they would come to know that I have already landed and dont need extension any more). Is money gonna refund or not?

all replies are much appreciated

When my husband landed (this was at an airport though) he wasn't asked any questions about money, just if there were any changes to his status or family composition, and if I was out there (in arrivals) waiting for him.

Yaa I think it depends on the officer if they ask or not.

If you already have your PR Visa/COPR, then you can just do landing immediately by flagpoling at the land border between Can/USA.

Proof of funds dependents on your immigrating category, family class does not require but skilled worker does. Not sure about yours.
If it is required, at least carry a bank statement showing enough funds, etc so that if they ask you can show them.....

PR status will supercede any temporary status, at the time of landing you will become a PR right away. So then CIC should either refund, or consider your application as abandoned......better to ask immigration officer @ time of landing.
