Super Visa application – questions about financial support

Hi everyone,

I’m filling out my parents’ Canadian Super Visa applications on their behalf and had a couple of questions about the financial section. I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has gone through this process.

1. “How much money do you have for your stay in Canada?”
   Should my parents enter the amount of money they personally have available for their stay, or should this include financial support that my brother and I would provide?
2. “Is someone giving you money for your stay in Canada?”
   My brother and I will likely be helping my parents financially during their stay. Should the answer to this question be Yes, and then should we provide details about both of us?
3. "How long are you planning to stay in Caanda for?" They plan on staying for 1-2 months inititally and then come again later.

If anyone has completed this section recently, I’d especially appreciate knowing how you answered these questions and what supporting documents you provided.

1. Only their personal cash.
2. Your brother is irrelevant. You as a host and your spouse can be a co-signer.
3. Better more than 6 months otherwise why would you need a super visa.
