Hello Everyone,
Friends of mine just got their PR and will be moving to Atlantic Canada shortly. They are in the process of booking their tickets so I have a question - if your port of entry is Halifax can you actually "land" there? It's not big but it's an international airport so they should have an immigration office there right? Or should they not chance it and fly to Toronto or Montreal?

Where is your friend living? i don't think there is many direct flights from outside to Halifax. Toronto or Vancouver is popular transits.

As I have already mentioned they are going to Atlantic Canada so obviously Vancouver is not going to work. They are coming from London and there is a direct flight London Heathrow - Halifax so it would actually be very convenient for them! I just want to know whether it's possible to go through a "landing" process in Halifax?

Yes you can do the "landing" in Halifax
