Landing at a different POE than the one mentioned in the COPR

Hi guys,
I have a query which i believe might get resolved here.
I have received my COPR and my passport is all stamped and good.I was planning to fly to Canada next month,however the destination mentioned on my COPR is Sudbury but I wish to make a landing snd complete my formalities at the Lester B.Pearson airport in Toronto. I am an Express Entry Applicant flying under the FSW program.
Can I make a landing at a different destination other than the one mentioned in my COPR?Any help would be most appreciated.

Given very unlikely you could take an international flight into Sudbury your first POE into Canada would in any case be Pearson Toronto which is where you would need to complete your PR landing.

Actually I have already booked my flights for Toronto as many of my relatives live there.So it would not be a problem if I land in Toronto and complete the formalities instead of Sudbury,right? I hope they won’t cancel my app

Is there any procedure/system where it’s possible that my application information is available only with the Immigration officers in Sudbury and not in Toronto due to which they might ask me to go back to Sudbury or cancel my application altogether? Is this possible?

Bs65 is being amusing! The only international flight out of Sudbury are Sunwing holiday charters and those are few and far between!

You need to relax and stop stressing! It is all on the CBSA / CIC national computer system that can be accessed anywhere from any of their office. You have been told it is fine to land at your first port of landing in Canada and that answer is correct.
