I am in a similar situation. Can anyone here help with below queries -
I have a valid US L1A Blanket Visa on my Indian Passport and my Canadian Citizenship Application is pending. I am yet to travel to the US on the L1A Visa.
My Queries are-
1) I would like to travel to the US on my L1A Work Visa for Work Assignment before my Citizenship oath. I will travel back for oath & the new Canadian Passport- expected early next year.
Will I be able to link my New Canadian Passport to my L1A Visa on my old Indian Passport at the port of entry to the US when re-entering the US after oath with the new Canadian Passport? Will there be any issue that I may not be aware?
2) What additional documentation I need to carry at the port of entry to US other than - the new Candian passport, my old Indian Passport that had the valid L1A visa, i129S & i797?
3) Also, will this have any impact on the L2 dependent visa (linked to my L1A Visa) for my wife who will continue to hold Indian Passport?
