If you could login to old system then you applied on paper Right? Because ones applied online can't track their applications on old tracker.

I really don't know; I just have access to the tracker.

Happy to give a bit of hope. Try not to get lost in all the negatives and endless worrying happening here on the forum.

If our application was done within 10 months I would wrote same as you ...but have to be frustrated as we came into 3rd year of waiting without any valid reason ( not our fault : Afghanistan refuge , pandemic , now Ukraine ...who knows what is next ).

I don’t think that’s true . I just completed my process in 10 months with certificate in hand.

How long after your oath ceremony did you receive the certificate?
Our oath ceremony was held on April 23, 2022. The tracker updated to status Closed (Reason: Citizenship granted) on May 06, 2022. Still waiting for the certificate to arrive

Does the tracker show update as to when the Citizenship certificate was dispatched? When I log into my tracker portal, I just see status as "Closed", with status "Reason: We have approved your application to become a Canadian citizen." This was updated on May 06.

My oath was on April 27 with Niagara Falls office.

My situation is a bit dicey at the moment; I need to make an urgent trip back home (My mother is ill) and this delay in certificate is putting me under a lot of anxiety. I searched around and looks like there is no way I can get any travel document after becoming a Citizen, unless I have the Citizenship certificate.

There won’t be any indication on the tracker that they dispatched your certificate. I just happened to check the mail one day and it was there. I think you’ll see your certificate arrive this week. When are you hoping to travel ? As soon as you get your certificate in the mail you should walk into the Kitchener passport office.
