They for sure have an agenda. I've just notice most of the ones getting visas on the spot have brought in additional evidence to the interview with them.

To be honest I made Hubby bring updated phone bills, whatsapp convos, emails, cards, travel itineraries some pictures- the additional docs were almost half the size of the original submission. The officer commended him for coming prepared and taking the interview seriously. The officer did look at some of the docs I think he wanted to see if it was information they already had. To be safe treat the interview as court and go prepared to defend your case and prove that your relationship is genuine and continuing.

In your case you had supernatural favour, since your hubby wasn't even interviewed But ultimately it really just depends on the officer. I still say it's better to be prepared.

He got called on October 13 and he missed the call, so they sent him an email that same day

Hello guys. Congrats and good luck to everyone who has interviews coming up.
I am just giving an update of my file. Hubby received his call from immigration on September 26th. His interview is scheduled for early November. He was told to bring passport only.

My hubby missed his call, so they sent him an email telling him to only bring a passport but now i have to prepare him just in case they ask him questions. Im so nervous and its like 5 weeks away

[perfect. I am the exact same date as you. I just got a passport request along with a police record which expired yesterday. I got email. Congrats.
