I finally got the email we have been waiting for!!! We got an interview mid-november! They emailed my rep who forwarded it to me!!! yay!!!

Just an update. Hubby went in for interview today it went well. He has to go back to KVO with his birth certificate and he'll be able to pick up his passport. Our paper application was linked online and it was updated to "Approved" right after the interview was completed. Hopefully he'll have passport with visa in hand tomorrow.

Here are questions they asked him

The officer asked when, where, how we met and how the relationship progressed

When we got married

How did we communicate

What trips we took together

When did we first become intimate

What did I tell him about Canada

How many times did we meet up in the US (how many trips)

Where I work and how much I make

Where he works how much he makes

What's my and his religion

What documents he brought with him (they were pictures, cards, emails, whatsapp convos, phone bills)

Did he bring his birth certificate

it is pretty normal for them to ask personal questions. The questions inland people have told me are crazy. Like what colour is you spouses toothbrush. What side of the bed does your spouse sleep on? How ofter are you intimate? When was you spouses last menstrual cycle? It's nuts!!! Your spouse should be prepared to answer very personal questions about you.

I need our opinion on how long of a layover i should give my husband when he gets approved. I live in New Brunswick and we have no direct flight. Most flights come through Toronto. How long does immigration take in Toronto

I'm not worried about him being prepared he is I just think they're to nosey when it comes to the intimate questions but someone's in a position of power you just gotta do what you gotta do I really want to be in JA for the interview even tho I probably won't get asked into the interview if I do go I guess they'll be asking him what colour underwear in wearing that day lol

My husband received a call today for an interview at the end of November and was requested to bring in a new background declaration along with some other documents. Has anyone else been asked to bring in an updated Schedule A which is the background declaration?

Mu husband just got a call for an interview at the end of November as well.. YAY YAY YAY.. How am i suppose to finish my work day? They asked for a new copy of Schedule A, passport and police record and any new picture and messages.
