Hey guys,
This is my first post on the forum...My wife and I want to submit our application in November but just want to find out if we can go ahead and start filling out the forms and have them printed prior to that time..Thanks in advance for your reply
personally I would fill out the forms and just sign and wait to date them when your ready to summit .. In my case that's what me and my husband did as he had to sign all the forms and I was in Jamaica so it was easier to have them sign them while I was there and I finished gathering all the other documents and just dated them when I was ready to send them in ... I'm sure they have to be sunmited within a certain amount of time once it's signed for example if you sent them in jan and there dated for June they may send them back because to much time had passed ... So easiest thing to do in my opinion is just sign the forms but don't date them until your ready to summit ... Goodluck

Thanks Paula :)
Well, im off to Mo Bay for the day, my son is on his way down from Canada with my friend (since I extended my trip shes bringing him down), so Im picking them up and driving back to Spanish Town. I'll be back on late tonight or tomorrow! See ya! Have a great day everyone!

Thanks guys for the advice

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your recent wedding!

You can definitely fill out the forms and start getting all your answers/dates/info ready, but I would wait until closer to the time you will be submitting to print off and sign your final copies of everything. CIC has been known to change/update the required forms randomly and if you submit your application with an outdated form you risk having the whole package returned to you. There's a chance they won't care and will still proceed with the application, but this process is stressful enough without having to sit and worry about your application being returned over an updated form.

But I would definitely start preparing ahead of time and getting all your forms filled out, just save them on your computer and double check that the versions you've been working on are the most recent ones before you print them out :)

Best of luck, and keep us posted!

I had to redo ours, as it was initially completed in august 2014 and I checked there was a new version date. pheww, same with the PC it was done in feb 2015 but it has to be done within three months before submitted. welcome to the forum. the folks here have a wealth of information and definitly helpful as we navigate thru this. I will be paying it forward when newbies join...
